A New England Love Story is an independent, self-funded film. While we’re keeping our budget low, there are some expenses that are unavoidable such as props, travel and lodging, locations, etc.

To cover the costs that we can’t cover out of our own pockets, we’ve set up both a Kickstarter campaign and a PayPal account. For those that become backers of the film we’ve offered a series of rewards through our Kickstarter campaign and our mirroring those rewards for those that choose to donate through Paypal:

Our actors are cheap but don’t work for free. We’ll split the $100 between them and get them to autograph a limited run of 25 DVDs.

Now look who the big shot is. You deserve something really special. For the big bucks you not only get your DVD autographed, but we’ll film a special personalized thank you from the director and lead actors AND include the documentary of the making of this totally iPhone movie.

Don’t want to have a DVD laying around getting used as a coaster? How about we load the move, the documentary AND a personalized video thank you onto an iPod Touch for you? Neato? You also get an assistant producer credit in the film and on our IMDB listing.

Ohhhh, you want the big screen? OK, everything we said above but we’ll put it on that new iPad 3/hd/2s whatever-they’re-calling-it. Oh yeah, we’ll bump you up to producer too.

Ok, you’re our savior. Actually, you’re our executive producer! You get your logo added at the beginning of the film, executive producer credit on the movie and IMDB listing. Don’t let that title go to your head though, because you won’t get to tell us what to do. You can do it on your own movie because we’ll be sending you the entire equipment package: iPhone 4s - loaded with the movie, documentary and apps used to make it. All of the lenses and attachments from zoom lenses to lights to our steady cam frame and tripod. Now you can run out and make your own movie. Send us a note, maybe we’ll fund you!
